In 2023, Phan Chau Trinh University (PCTU) has decided to increase the allocation percentage for the admission method based on high school graduation examination scores to 70%, while the allocation for the Academic Transcript method has decreased to 25%, and the remaining methods remain at 5%. This means that candidates with high examination scores will have more opportunities to be admitted to PCTU.
Furthermore, Phan Chau Trinh University has maintained the five admission methods from the previous year, including admission based on high school graduation examination scores, academic transcript, competence assessment results, undergraduate and graduate degree results, and direct admission based on the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Additionally, according to the Ministry of Education and Training's regulations, starting from 2023, the policy for bonus priority points has also changed compared to the previous year. Specifically, for candidates with a total score of 22.5 or above, the priority points will be calculated using the formula [(30 - Total score achieved) / 7.5] × Priority point level. In the case of a total score of the three subjects below 22.5, the bonus points will be added as before. The details of the priority point levels based on regions and candidate categories can be found here:

With these new changes, Phan Chau Trinh University is striving to provide more opportunities for candidates in the admission process. To register for admission to the university, candidates need to pay attention to the scoring criteria and the admission registration process in order to achieve the best results.
