So, six years of study are coming to an end. This afternoon (June 1), medical students from the first course (2018-2024) began their graduation thesis defenses, marking the end of a long journey of learning. According to the issued decision, five councils will evaluate the theses. The defense period will take place continuously from June 1st to June 4th, 2024.
The students will report their experimental results from the approved topics. In the first defense session, the council highly rated the investment in the experiments, the collection and analysis of data, and the specific experiment results provided. According to Dr. Pham Thi Thu Thuy, Chairperson of the Council, who holds a degree in general medicine, the theses of this nature meet the requirements. The students were also very well-prepared and confidently presented in front of the council.
The council was especially impressed with the report in complete English from Le Vo Thanh Tung. Besides Tung, three other students also registered to report in English. However, the council members also highlighted areas for improvement, deficiencies, and issues encountered during the research and presentation of the theses.
This is extremely valuable feedback, not only helping students to complete their thesis articles but also providing them with more research experience in the future. Congratulations to the first students to finish their presentations. We also wish you success in your presentations in the upcoming days.
