Today, Dr. Huynh was very happy to meet again Dr. Tung of Medicine Department - PCTU, 09 Nguyen Gia Thieu, Dien Ngoc, Dien Ban, Quang Nam. In particular, he had a very attractive exchange with first-year medical students. The first part of the program is lecturing on basic communication skills between doctors and patients, which, according to him, is one of the most important skills, is the key to solving most problems in the process of practicing doctors. He emphasized the importance of creating patient's trust and affection for effectiveness of medical examination and treatment. These communication skills are trainable, and are manifested in many aspects such as body language, well-dressed clothes, professional behavior, attentive attitude, and care. , listening to patients, speaking fluently and clearly, ... The second part of the program was a presentation on the importance of Medical English teaching in medical school, and lessons learned from Thai medical schools. Dr. Huynh Wynn Tran helped the students understand why they have to learn Medical English from the very first years and should consider this as a compulsory subject to integrate into the world of medicine.
