Phan Chau Trinh University offers many disciplines, but focuses a lot on the health and hospital administration, the curriculum is heavy in both theory and practice at the hospital. In addition to investing in infrastructure and technology, both qualitative and quantitative faculty resources to meet PCTU's specialized curriculum such as medicine are very important. Many on-site lecturers, but also many excellent and excellent lecturers at major medical universities, hospitals in the country, or abroad such as the United States, France, Italy, Sweden, and Korea were invited. teaching as well as scientific research from the beginning. When the epidemic broke out and broke out in Wuhan - China in December, 2019, the school board predicted that difficulty could occur in traditional teaching or teaching onsite to school students if disease spread. spread fast. Difficulties and challenges in implementing online teaching

Initially, the school used the available information technology and telecommunications infrastructure to immediately deploy online teaching and learning. Many difficulties have been revealed as most lecturers use traditional teaching methods, teachers come to class and interact directly with students, so when deploying online teaching, teachers do not have access to technology, not confidently sitting in front of computer screens and technology equipment, afraid of not interacting with students ... Seeing the above obstacle factors, a key solution to overcome the obstacles for teachers and students and improve the quality of online teaching is to continue to invest in upgrading in information technology and communication for this project.

Applying information and communication technology, in addition to investing in a 150 MB high-speed internet connection, the school also invests in two bridges for teaching and learning. The lecturer bridge is located in Ho Chi Minh City, with modern technology equipment such as: American studio / online equipment including Polycom Trio 8500-12X MSR hardware (Camera, mic, speaker, Trio Visual +); 01 Interactive screen: BENQ RM5502K; 02 Sony 43in TV screens; 01 Trio Visual + set; 01 HP laptop. The student bridge head located at the Medical School of Phan Chau Trinh University also has modern hardware and software equipment synchronous with the lecturers' bridgehead and the classrooms are acoustically accurate. Both bridgeheads have teaching assistants (TA), bridge assistants Teachers have dominant information technology and know medical background, Student bridge heads are assistant teachers who know how to apply information technology. and communication to help students interact easily with teachers and assist teachers in discussions and presentations. In order for students to interact well with teachers, the school implements a Learning Management System (LMS): a software system running on CiscoWeb platform allowing organization, management and deployment. training activities; Help the School monitor and manage student learning; create virtual teaching and learning environments; help teachers communicate with learners in assigning exercises, helping and answering questions; help students keep track of their learning progress, participate in online learning content, connect with faculty and other students to exchange lessons, including writing and marking assignments for students. Right from the beginning of the operation, there were many comments and suggestions for the school to complete the tools as well as the deployment method for online teaching:

The opinion of students: LMS software helped students see study documents, presentation files, ... to help them prepare lessons and presentations before going to class, so they feel comfortable studying. The classrooms are quiet, have a high self-study spirit, and have autonomy in learning time. They also want the school to better improve the visual and sound so that the interaction between students and teachers is closer.

With the initial results recorded, we hope that the investment in teaching and learning medicine by online medicine of Phan Chau Trinh University can be feasible at least in the period when most traffic, direct relationship, direct interaction, direct communication in distance teaching and learning.
