According to the Ministry of Health, the 52-year-old patient flew TK 162 on March 10, landed at Tan Son Nhat airport (Ho Chi Minh City).
From March 10 to 16, the patient went to Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Hoi An and Hue, then went to Ninh Binh and was sampled for SARS-CoV-2 here. The results of the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology showed positive for SARS-CoV-2.
The patient is being isolated and treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases - Dong Anh campus (Hanoi) in a stable condition. This is the 76th patient in Vietnam and the 10th patient today 18-3.
March 18 is also the day when many patients have been recorded, the second since the beginning of the epidemic season in Vietnam.
