According to the Ministry of Health, in the past 24 hours, Vietnam has recorded 14 new cases, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases of Vietnam to 148.
Out of 14 new cases (including 7 cases announced last night, 7 cases announced this morning), 10 cases were quarantined right after entry and 1 case was a doctor who was infected from a patient being treated. isolation treatment (these 11 cases have no risk of spreading to the community), 3 cases with a lifetime in the community.
Specifically, 7 patients recorded this morning as follows:
DISEASE 142 (BN142): A 26-year-old male patient, based in Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City, is an international student in the US. On March 8, the patient departed from Texas (USA), transited in Taiwan, then took Eva Air flight BR395, seat number 38A and entered Vietnam on March 10 at the airport. Tan Son Nhat.
After entering the country, the patient visited family members at Binh Dan Hospital, the US Consulate and also contacted a number of temporary resident declaration officers in Tan Tuc commune, Binh Chanh district.
On March 23, the patient was sampled and is currently isolated and treated at Can Gio Field Hospital.
DISEASE 143 (BN143): A 58-year-old female patient, South African national, address: Tan Son Nhi ward, Tan Phu district, HCMC. The patient departs from Seattle (Washington, USA), transits in Taiwan, then takes Eva Air flight BR395, seat number 48A, enters Vietnam on March 21 at Tan Son airport. Best.
After entering, patients are isolated and concentrated in the dormitory of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City. The patient had been in contact with relatives who had confirmed COVID-19 before returning to Vietnam.
On March 22, the patient had fever, cough, and shortness of breath, was transferred to isolation and treated at Cu Chi field hospital. Currently, the patient has reduced fever and a little cough.
DISEASE 144 (BN144): A male patient, Vietnamese nationality, 22 years old, residing in Ward 14, Phu Nhuan District, HCMC. Patients from England to Vietnam on flights of Vietnam Airlines VN0050, seat number 24D, March 22.
Since the time of entry until now, the patient has no symptoms, stable health, is being isolated in the isolated concentrated area of Tra Vinh province.
DISEASE 145 (BN145): Male patient, Vietnamese nationality, 34 years old, residing in Son Ky ward, Tan Phu district, HCMC. Occupation is a manicurist.
Patient took flight VN0050 of Vietnam Airlines, seat number 28A, arrived at Can Tho airport on March 22. Upon entry, the patient showed no signs of illness and was transferred to the isolation ward concentrated at the local Military School - City. Can Tho.
At the isolation point to detect coughing patients, they should refer to TB hospital and lung hospital for isolation, treatment and sampling. The patient is still coughing.
DISEASE 146 (BN146): Female patient, 17 years old, address: Nghi Thiet Commune, Nghi Loc District, Nghe An Province. The patient returned from Thailand on March 20, before having been in close contact with a confirmed positive case in Da Nang.
After entering, the patient was brought to the quarantine area of the province by the Center for Disease Control of Ha Tinh province and took samples for testing. Currently, the patient is in isolation at Cau Treo General Hospital, Ha Tinh province, and her health is stable.
PATIENT 147 (BN147): Male patient, 19 years old, address in Yen Hoa, Cau Giay, Hanoi. The patient is an international student from the UK, on a flight VN0054 of Vietnam Airlines to Noi Bai on March 21.
After entering, the patient was taken to the isolation ward of Hanoi and sampled for screening test and positive results for COVID-19. Currently, the patient is in quarantine at the Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, and the health is stable.
PATIENT 148 (BN148): Patient male, 58 years old, French nationality, address: O Cho Dua, Dong Da, Hanoi. The patient is a tourist from France to Vietnam on March 12 on flight VN0018.
From March 12 to 19, the patient went to many points in Hanoi. On March 19, the patient was tested by Dong Da Medical Center, then isolated at home.
On March 24, the patient had a positive result for COVID-19, then the patient was put in isolation at the Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
Currently, the patient is in quarantine at the Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, and the health is stable.
The Ministry of Health recommends:
1. People do not go to the street, if there is no really necessary job. People over 60 need to stay home the entire time.
2. Notify the local authorities and police about those entering Vietnam (including both Vietnamese and foreign citizens) from March 8 until now do not conduct quarantine.
3. Localities strictly abide by the regulations on temporary suspension of activities at entertainment and entertainment venues and strictly sanction violations.
