The Ministry of Health has just announced the 123rd case of COVID-19, a girl in Ben Tre has just returned from Malaysia. The locality has isolated nearly 1,600 people.

Accordingly, the patient is female, 17 years old, Vietnamese nationality, residing in Binh Dai district, Ben Tre province. She has been living in Sarawar, Malaysia for 3-4 months now.

On March 17, she moved from Malaysia to Bandar Seri Begawa, Brunei, and boarded a flight of Royal Brunei Airline at BI381, seat number 27K to Tan Son Nhat airport at noon on the same day.

She returned to Ben Tre on the bus at 15:30 on March 17 of the Cong Tao garage and was picked up by a friend to her home, quarantined herself at home.

On March 21, she was sampled for testing, at this time she did not have any symptoms. The number of people exposed to her at home isolation was 2 people, both of which have not shown signs of illness.

On March 22, the Pasteur Institute of Ho Chi Minh City concluded that her sample was positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Currently, the patient is being transferred to medical isolation at the Medical Center of Binh Dai district, Ben Tre province. The locality has now quarantined nearly 1,600 people to prevent the spread of the epidemic
